Despite foreclosure, Village Mall is in the black Despite a national recession, Auburn's University Village Mall is in the black. New season, new attitude from players in 2010 A welcomed change from last season, the Tigers are entering their 2010 schedule with more answers than questions looming over them. Lawsuit challenges AU's Dining Dollars Three Auburn students object to Auburn University's practice of charging a mandatory fee for on-campus foodservice. And they're doing more than complaining. They've filed a lawsuit against AU and the university's foodservice purveyor, Compass USA, alleging the practice violates state law. They want their money back, they want the practice stopped, and they want the lawsuit to become a class action representing all students who have paid the fee since the practice was initiated in 2008.
